This is not the first time De Biasi has voted in Albania. Speaking to Euronews Albania, he expressed his deep connection to the country, saying he often feels like an ambassador for Albania abroad. "I feel very Albanian. Whenever I get the chance, I come back. In a way, I’ve also played the role of an ambassador, trying to represent the best side of Albania, especially in places where it’s not well known."
De Biasi, who was recently in the country for the Giro d’Italia, called the event "a marvel" and announced that he plans to return for the upcoming match against Serbia. Looking ahead to that high-profile football game, he shared a message of unity and responsibility. "It will surely be a very special match. The only thing I hope is that we don’t do anything foolish. It’s just a football match, and we must show the world that we are a dignified and respectful people."
