According to data published by the CEC, a total of 245,935 envelopes were initially sent to eligible voters outside the country. Out of these, 225,701 envelopes have been received by voters, while 20,234 remain uncollected.

The highest number of returned ballots comes from Italy, with 65,361 envelopes, followed by Greece and Germany. Regionally, the largest share of ballots is attributed to Tirana with 35,389 envelopes, followed by Fier with 19,414, and Durrës with 17,409.

The delivery service DHL, which is responsible for distributing the ballots, is required to retain any undelivered envelopes in their offices until May 8, giving voters a final opportunity to collect them.

It's important to note that any ballots arriving in Albania after 7:00 PM on May 11 will be considered invalid, regardless of postmark or date of dispatch.

The official site for managing and processing the returned ballots is the “Feti Borova” Sports Palace, located near the Olympic Park in Tirana.
