Albanian Criminals in Dubai: Enemies to the Death, They See Each Other but Cannot Kill

In a recent revelation, journalist Anduena Llabani shared on the "Now me Erla Mëhillin" show on Euronews Albania that the whereabouts of former Socialist Party MP Arben Ndoka have been pinpointed to Dubai. This development is significant, as Ndoka is suspected by the Special Anti-Corruption Structure (SPAK) of orchestrating and financing the murder of Durim Bami, a prominent figure in the criminal underworld.

Llabani's report sheds light on the intriguing dynamics among Albanian criminals in Dubai. Despite their deep-seated conflicts, they refrain from acting against each other. "Two reliable structures remain for SPAK, Interpol, and the senior leadership of the State Police. It has been a voluminous task, and Arben Ndoka's nephew has been immediately sought. Additionally, there is confirmed information that Arben Ndoka himself has been located in Dubai," Llabani stated.

She elaborated that the Albanian state is now aware of the former MP's location. Ndoka is wanted for allegedly conceptualizing, funding, and organizing a group to assassinate Durim Bami. Interestingly, Bami himself is also in Dubai. Despite the animosity and unresolved issues among these criminals, they seem unable to act on their hostilities.

"Albanian criminals in Dubai, despite their mutual problems, merely see each other eye to eye but dare not do anything," Llabani explained.

This standoff in Dubai highlights the complex and often paradoxical nature of criminal networks. Even in a foreign land, the fear of repercussions and the presence of law enforcement agencies like Interpol may be strong deterrents against violent actions. The situation underscores the ongoing efforts by Albanian authorities and international agencies to monitor and control criminal activities beyond national borders.
