Analyst Fatmir Sheholli spoke to the media about the tense situation in Kosovo, where one policeman was killed and two others were injured.

In an interview with Euronews Albania, he emphasized that the attack that occurred in the North had been prepared in advance. He also added that the individuals inside the Monastery are speaking Russian.

Furthermore, he pointed out that there is information indicating that 200 people are being trained in Serbia, and according to him, they may be for the purpose of destabilizing the situation in Kosovo.

"These people have entered the territory of the Republic of Kosovo, and we, in coordination with KFOR and the international factors in Kosovo, need to carry out this operation as effectively as possible with minimal consequences. It is not known if there are other organizations that may, under certain circumstances, become active. These are terrorists, and there's nothing to negotiate with them. Serbia will come out publicly and say things that we are used to hearing.

What has happened is not accidental. From what we understand, it is said that these people who have entered the monastery are speaking the Russian language. Now we need to be cautious, whether these are Serbs speaking Russian or they belong to the 'Wagner' group. There is information that 200 people in the Republic of Serbia are being trained, and they may be intended for destabilizing the situation in the North of Kosovo," he said.
