A 39-year-old Albanian from North Macedonia was executed on Friday night in Greece. The victim has been identified as Orhan Bajrami, a well-known name to the local police as a gambling businessman, local media reports.

Greek authorities reported that the victim was shot by two assailants in the Halkidiki region. The 39-year-old was on vacation and living in a rented house.

The two perpetrators, who seemed to be contract killers according to Greek media, fled the scene on motorcycles after firing a barrage of bullets towards Macedonian citizens.

Another person injured in the incident was a friend of the victim, who is currently in critical condition in the hospital.

Orhan Bajrami, also known as "OKI," had several prior criminal records.

Just a few months ago, Jeton Krivanjeva, a close associate of Orhan Bajrami, was also killed in the center of Skopje. The murder remains unsolved and is suspected to be related to the gambling business.
