LA Galaxy expresses interest for Albanian forward Rey Manaj

Rey Manaj in action with e Albanian national team
Rey Manaj, the Albanian forward, has been without a club for several months after facing a disappointing stint in the English championship. As a result, he is no longer being called up to the Albanian national team. His chances of making a comeback depend on securing a deal with a new football club.

Fortunately, an offer has recently been presented to him, reportedly from Major League Soccer (MLS). The offer comes from LA Galaxy, a highly renowned team in the United States, known for having famous European players like David Beckham, Steven Gerrard, and Zlatan Ibrahimovic in the past, local media say.

Coach Greg Vanney has been closely observing the Albanian striker and is eager to include him in the team, especially considering the success of fellow countryman Giacomo Vrioni in the USA.

During this period of being clubless, Manaj has been participating in training sessions only and has turned down offers from other teams.

Previously, he has been associated with Inter, Barcelona, and most recently, he joined Watford. Unfortunately, his time on the island did not yield the expected success, as the 26-year-old managed to score only one goal during his tenure there.
