An extensive anti-drug operation between Italy, Albania, and other European nations was carried out on Thursday night by the Guardia di Finanza of Brescia in conjunction with departments of the Central Organized Crime Investigation Service (SCICO).

In a comprehensive investigation into drug trafficking, 43 security measures were carried out and 4 million euros were seized, Albanian media writes.

The specifics will be discussed in live statements with Eurojust and the Albanian Judicial Authority during a press conference that the prosecutor of Bergamo will hold at 12:30 p.m. in the court of Bergamo.
