Albanian waiter in Malta saves woman's life in a restaurant while she was dying due to food choking

 An Albanian waiter was hailed as a hero by the Maltese media after reporting that his intervention saved the life of a client in the bar where he worked.

TV Malta reported that Endri Demaj was working in the "Ghar Lapsi" area in Pieta, when he was informed that a client, Patricia Neto, was dying due to food choking. Endri hurried to help the old woman and managed to save her from dying.

The woman later said she thought she was going to die as she could not breathe, but thankfully she has been rescued by the Albanian waiter. Her daughter, Carole Khosla, thanked Endri through a Facebook post. "You saved my mother's life and I am grateful," she said. Even on social networks, Endri's action was praised by many users.
