22-year-old Albanian Kleidon Ndreu, after an excellent and convincing campaign, two days ago managed to be elected by the people as a member of the Board of Education of the Cliffside Park District of New Jersey.
The board in question consists of nine members, who are elected from three per year, for three years. Decisions made by board members relate to the approval or not of funds, their destination, budget, taxes, laws and regulations, planning for schools, increase or not of salaries, investments in education, etc.
Cleidon is the youngest board member ever elected to this district.
