Prime Minister Edi Rama, during an interview he gave to the French media "Tv5 Monde", was put in a difficult situation, by the question asked by the journalist.

Asked about the conflict between the US and France over nuclear submarines, Prime Minister Rama gave an answer, not trying to take the side of any country.

The head of the Albanian government said that the United States is an ally while France is a friend of Albania, thus avoiding other replies or questions he might have from the journalist.

"We are proud allies of the United States, but also very proud friends of France. We are a small country, but we have very clear ideas and we will do everything to walk together with others with the goals of the United Nations and the common goals for a more protected world from climate change, for a more gender equality, a more solidary world and definitely for a united world against evil, terrorism, fundamentalism from all sides," Rama said.
