Excavations resume for the remains of Kosovo War victims in Serbia

 This Wednesday began the excavations in Raska, Serbia, for the remains of the victims of the 1998-99 war in Kosovo, as Euronews Albania reports.

Representatives of the Kosovo delegation within the Working Group on Missing Persons stayed at the location of the mass grave in Kizhevak, Serbia, on the occasion of the resumption of excavations. Part of the excavations is also the Kosovo Forensic Expertise, within the Working Group on Missing Persons.

As announced by the Office of the Prime Minister of Kosovo, assessment excavations and exhumations of the mortal remains of war victims will continue in this part for at least two weeks in a row.

"Forensic experts of the Republic of Kosovo will continue to be at the location of the mass grave until the end of the process," the statement said.
