Elina Duni, the Albanian singer in Switzerland, performed last night "live" on the program "Radio 3" of the British media BBC, a unique performance in the premises of Royal Festive Hall.

She has performed alongside her music partner, Rob Luft, and the band.

Elina Duni left Albania for Geneva, Switzerland at the age of 10, where she lives with her mother.

She specialized in "Jazz" at the University of the Arts in Bern, and since 2004 she has been playing with the quartet under her own name.

Her innovative style in the "Jazz" stream, with a great influence from Albanian folk music, was praised with the nomination for the Seiss Music Prize in 2017.

She is focused on jazz music but she is mostly known for the ethno-jazz current where she has reworked some old Albanian songs and brought them to this genre.
