Izetbegovic says that if Serbia recognizes Kosovo will whet the appetite for Bosnia

Bakir Izetbegovic interviewed by Radio Sarajevo
The Chairman of the Party for Democratic Action (SDA) and Deputy Speaker of the Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bakir Izetbegovic does not believe that there will be a leader among Serbs who will recognize Kosovo's independence and if this happens, according to him, it would open appetite for Bosnia and Herzegovina (BH), adding that there will be a lot of noise, of which there will be nothing.

"I do not believe that there will be a leader among Serbs who will sign Kosovo's independence. "If this happens, appetites for BH will come, compensation will be demanded Serbs and Serbia," Izetbegovic told to Radio Sarajevo.

According to him, there will be many conversations and noise, which will decrease over time and from which there will be nothing "because in both Kosovo and BH, the Serbian side and the Serbian army have committed crimes and ethnic cleansing, while won a lot with the Dayton Agreement in BH.

"All of this will inevitably lead to new conflicts and a scenario that certainly no one wants, especially the non-Bosnian Serbs."

"Genocide cannot and will not be rewarded with independence (of the Republika Srpska) at any cost," he said.
