US Ambassador Yuri Kim encourages Albanian Police to continue fighting organized crime

 The US Ambassador to Albania, Yuri Kim, took part in the awarding of medals ceremony of the Head of the Regional Security Office of the Embassy, Janet Meyer, and ARSO's Antonio Zamudio.

Yuri Kim also gave a short speech at the ceremony, which mainly assessed the relations with the Albanian government and the Police, but on the other hand, encouraged the latter to continue to fight organized crime in Albania.

Kim adds that in this objective she welcomes the continuation of the US cooperation with the Police.

"The United States continues to enjoy a close relationship with the Government of Albania, especially the Ministry of Interior and the Albanian State Police. I want to recognize the Albanian State Police for their continued support of shared U.S.-Albanian security priorities and, specifically, for their work with the Regional Security Office in keeping our Embassy safe and secure... We look forward to continuing our close collaboration with the Albanian State Police, and I urge you to continue the fight against organized crime in Albania." said Ambassador Yuri Kim during the award ceremony for Embassy's Regional Security Office Janet Meyer and ARSO-I Antonio Zamudio.
