US Special Envoy for the Kosovo-Serbia dialogue, Richard Grenell, last night held a virtual meeting with members of the Albanian-American community, where they talked about the continuation of the Kosovo-Serbia dialogue.

The virtual meeting with Emissary Grenell included Martin Vulaj - former head of the National Council of Albanians in the United States, Elmi Berisha - the mayor of Vatra, Ana Cenaj - who represents the American-Albanian community in Dallas and Texas, and Uk Lushi - from the Atlantic Battalion.

Grenell briefed participants on the meeting he had yesterday with US President Donald Trump, who briefed him on the cancellation of the meeting expected to be held in Washington today to resume talks between Pristina and Belgrade.

Trump authorized Grenelli to give the dialogue another chance to see if he has a chance to resume, otherwise the ambassador could be appointed to other posts.

Grenell also said that there is an urgency in the need for Kosovars to organize and express their clear intentions to pursue dialogue with an official request for a reunion at the White House.
