A super action took place in the early hours of this morning in Italy, where a dangerous criminal organization of drug trafficking was hit. As a result of the operation of the carabinieri, 13 traffickers ended up in handcuffs, including some Albanians, aged between 23 and 38.

The investigation into the criminal gang had started in January 2017, where, as reported by the Italian media, indisputable elements and evidence were collected against the suspects. The criminal organization trafficked large quantities of drugs, which, through co-operation between Italian and Albanian members, were divided into small doses and then sold for retail.

According to neighboring media, members of the gang managed to carry out the criminal activity cleverly, hiding the activity in the construction sector, but the carabinieri managed to unmask them. Investigators' attention has been focused mainly on the Albanian entrepreneur and a compatriot, who appear to be the main traffic organizer.

The action was attended by the carabinieri, army forces, and anti-drugs, who discovered a real drug depot, built inside a pine forest, in the municipality of Ferentino, which was in the name of two Albanians.

The area has been surrounded by 50 soldiers and anti-drug dogs, who have made possible the discovery of 4.5 kg of pure cocaine, "buried" among the large stones. During the search, various containers were discovered, where 40 kg of cocaine was hidden.
