The EU office's reaction came after media interest in whether the Albanian government had consulted with European officials about the draft.

EU response:

Following several media requests, we would like to clarify that the European Commission and the EU Delegation have not been involved in the preparation, drafting or consultation of draft reports on plans to cultivate and legalize cannabis for medical purposes in Albania.”
