 Theater protest in Tirana
For almost 2 and a half hours, artists, civil society representatives, citizens, and opposition representatives have been protesting near the National where now ruins and inerts have already remained. Theater artists, activists who defended for nearly two years, climbed the modest podium as they delivered their strong messages, accusing the government and State Police of violence against them yesterday.

The protest started with the well-known songs of the group 'Troja', to continue with the anthem created especially for the protection of the National Theater. The protest was peaceful, despite moments of tension, where two women were slightly injured after several capsules exploded.

The protest started at 16:30, while the Alliance for the Protection of Theater has called for participation. Footage broadcast live on News24 during the protest showed the large presence of police forces, even on the terraces of government buildings.

Another incident is related to the fact that some citizens have asked the leader of the Democrats, Lulzim Basha, present at the rally, to leave, considering him a "traitor" of the cause.

As soon as the leader of the Democratic Party, Lulzim Basha, arrived at the protest, the situation became tense. Some protesters beat each other at this moment, while a few meters away from them was the leader of the Democratic Party, Lulzim Basha.
