'Montenegro did not surrender to the Greater Albania project thanks to Serbs' Serb MP says

Recent tensions between Serbia and Montenegro have been reflected in both anti-Albanian and anti-Muslim language by Serbian politicians in the Montenegrin Parliament.

The Serbian MP of the Montenegrin Parliament Milutin Djukanovic, said the country (Montenegro), thanks to Serbs, did not surrender to the Greater Albania project.

"We are the pillar of Montenegro - the Christian majority, the Orthodox majority, who refused to be servants of the Greater Albania project. We do not want to inherit Montenegro from Albanians, Bosniaks, Muslims. We are fighting for the survival of the Christian and Orthodox faith in this area," said the Serbian MP.

Montenegrin lawmaker Aleksandra Vukovic reacted by saying that no one had ever insulted Montenegro in such a disgusting way.

"You have left a shameful stain on the history of your politics. That is why you will need a law on amnesty and pardon from Montenegrin citizens for what you are doing today," Vukovic said in response to his Serbian counterpart.
