A significant amount of medical drugs have been sized this morning in the Albanian/Greek border in the Kakavia village, as according to the police, the drug packages were not accompanied by the relevant documentation.

The blue uniforms indicate that the drugs were being smuggled into Albania through a truck driven by the citizen K. D., against whom the investigation has been launched.

The drug smuggling business has been successful in Albania, especially by EU countries. This is because according to many citizens' complaints, the quality of medicines that are legally imported to Albania by some monopoly businesses of statesmen, is extremely bad and even many medicines do more harm than good.

"Imagine when a drug is imported from Senegal or Costa Rica to Albania, what quality may have, in the meantime this drug is produced by most European countries and even by some Balkan countries. Only the route it takes from those countries costs much more than the real cost of medicine. Imagine what we take for our health ... "says Andon Ledhi to Oculus News.
