An Albanian couple has been the protagonist of a conflict, which ended with the injury of one and the arrest of the other.

The 48-year-old man shot his 40-year-old wife with a gun, and then stabbed her. The incident took place in Malnate, Varese province, according to local media.

At the time of the incident, the couple was in the vehicle and it is reported that everything happened due to jealousy.

It is learned that the man shot his wife with a pistol. The latter, after being able to escape, got out of the car and asked for help.

The attack, fortunately, did not harm seriously the 40-year-old. The injured was taken to Circolo Hospital, where she is being treated by doctors. Her husband was arrested by the police. Police went to the scene and are investigating everything.
