Great hopes in Brussels for Albania and North Macedonia

Radio Free Europe correspondent in Brussels, Richard Jozwiak, writes that the EU Foreign Ministers' next meeting on Thursday is expected to provide "green light" for Albania and North Macedonia to open negotiations with the European Union.

According to the journalist Jozwiak, at the meeting of the ambassadors of the member states, an agreement was reached on the two Western Balkan countries, but conclusions have not been reached yet and are expected to be formalized over the weekend, as the CNN affiliate news channel in Albania writes.

These conclusions are expected to include the two issues raised by Greece concerning the census and the property issue relating to Albania.
