Albania officially affected by the coronavirus, father and son coming from Italy

 

 Prime Minister Edi Rama and the government are meeting today for the first time at an extraordinary meeting relating to the two cases of coronavirus.

The meeting comes after the Health Ministry confirmed at midnight the first two cases of coronavirus, two Albanians who had been in Italy for some time got infected.

Rama spoke initially about the first two cases where he said that Albania has already entered the next phase as a country affected by the coronavirus and the plan for this situation has been prepared by the Technical Committee of Experts.

The main recommendation to follow according to the prime minister is calm and the worst recipe is panic.


"The Minister of Health will further inform on the measures taken since the moment of notification, the epidemiological protocol according to the protocol set by WHO which has been our guide since the emergence of this threatening phenomenon.

What is of fundamental importance and which is WHO's basic advice is the need for calm and to follow step by step official sources from the relevant health system as regards individuals and as regards the state itself all the measures envisaged to be stepped up step by step. and in fact since midnight last night, we have also prepared the introduction to the first scenario which was prepared by the Technical Committee of Experts.
