5 Albanians arrested in Greece for 33 burglaries and 3 robberies

 
 Nor has the deadly COVID-19 virus made it possible to stop the thefts committed by an Albanian criminal band in Greece, which is charged with 36 thefts in total.

The Albanian gangs, suspected of systematically stealing and robbing homes, were discovered by the North East Attic Security Directorate. Specifically, according to Greek police, five perpetrators, members of two criminal organizations, were arrested following a coordinated police operation.

Criminal proceedings were instituted against defendants for the crimes of founding and participating in a criminal organization, robbery and theft, according to iefimerida.

According to Greek police, the two gang activity areas were at Northeast Athens.

During the thefts, they used gloves and did not hesitate to use the violence.

Following police investigations in the homes of those arrested are found jewelry, watches, laptops, cell phones, electronic devices, a sum of $ 1,600, numerous, and the cars they used have been confiscated.

The police investigation has so far solved 33 cases of theft and 3 robberies.

The detainees were taken to the Athens Public Prosecutor.
