Kosovo - Russia women's football match to be played in Germany for security reasons

 
 
UEFA has decided that, for security reasons, the Euro 2021 qualifying match between Kosovo and Russia to take place on a neutral stadium.


The match between Kosovo and Russia in the women's competition, valid for the qualifications of the European Championships 2021, will be played in neutral ground, writes Express newspaper.

In fact, UEFA has decided that this meeting to be scheduled to take place in Pristina on October 4, 2019, which was postponed at that time, will be played in the city of Wiesbaden in Germany, at the Brita Arsena Stadium.

The European football house had considered that the game could not be played in Kosovo for security reasons, so has decided to play in a neutral state.

The match will be played on March 6 this year.

The winner of the group and second place will go to the play-off  phase.
