Canada confirms the participation in the Donor Conference on Earthquake in Albania
Edi Rama and Justin Trudeau
Prime Minister Edi Rama met today his Canadian counterpart, Justin Trudeau, in Munich, Germany. The two Prime Ministers discussed the Donor Conference and the situation in Albania after the earthquake.

Prime Minister Trudeau said Canada will attend the Reconstruction Conference to be held in Brussels on February 17.

“It is a great pleasure to sit down again with my friend Edi Rama from Albania. It gives me the opportunity, first of all, to express once again my condolences for the terrible earthquake we talked about when we met in NATO. Canada is committed to attending the Reconstruction Conference in February as well,” said the head of the Canadian government.

Prime Minister Rama, on the other hand, expressed gratitude to the Canadian counterpart for the sensitivity shown regarding the post-earthquake situation in Albania.

“I am very grateful and greatly appreciate the meeting with you on any occasion. You know you have a huge impact on many of your counterparts. At the same time, you know that you are the Prime Minister of many Albanians living in Canada and working hard and contributing to your country, but they also receive a lot of knowledge and good things from your country about their families. I would also like to express my gratitude that you have shown empathy for what has happened recently. Thank you for being present at the conference. We want to strengthen our relations. Rama said.
