Albanian striker Liridon Krasniqi chooses to play for the Malaysian national team

 

 Kosovo striker Liridon Krasniqi who has been playing in Malaysia for five years now has the right to play for their national football team.

Krasniqi, who has represented the Kosovo national football team in 3 friendly matches in the period 2014-2015, is already the first Kosovar to represent an Asian national.

He received his Malaysian passport a few days ago and will be able to play in Asian eliminators for the World Cup.

The striker gained attention with an ironic post he posted on Facebook several years ago that read, "I'm Albanian, I'm a boss because I eat yogurt with waffle."

But now it seems that after being forgotten by the Kosovo national team because of various reasons, Liridon Krasniqi becomes Malaysian.
