The European Commission rewards Kosovo with € 11,5 million because of good Performance in Economy
 
 The Ministry of Finance of Kosovo has been awarded today for its work by the European Commission with the amount of € 11,499,970.00. The ministry's Information Office says this is a reward for the hard work it puts into maintaining and sustaining the country's continued macroeconomic stability, by successfully and professionally implementing credible macroeconomic stability-oriented policies.

The Ministry of Finance has been awarded today for its work by the European Commission in the amount of € 11,499,970.00 as direct budget support.

"The Ministry of Finance has received this amount of funds after hard work to establish and maintain sustainable macroeconomic stability of the country, by successfully and professionally implementing credible macroeconomic stability-oriented policies."

This ministry has indicated that this money has been allocated after fulfilling the tasks assigned by the European Commission.

“Successful Public Finance Management through the rigorous implementation of the program and strategy to improve Public Financial Management and at the same time increasing the budgetary transparency of all stakeholders including civil society and citizens of the Republic of Kosovo, and has successfully implemented the Strategy for Public Financial Management Reform of Kosovo 2016-2020 and the Modernization of Public Administration. All these tasks have been positively assessed by the European Commission, where they praised the work done to maintain the country's macro-fiscal stability, including compliance with the fiscal rules provided by the Law on Public Financial Management.

"For these reasons today the state of the Republic of Kosovo in financial terms stands the best it has ever stood in all its parameters," reads a press release from the MoF.
