Kosovo close to deal with the new government, Thaci calls the Assembly
 Albin Kurti and Isa Mustafa
Kosovo is nearing the birth of a new government, as the Self-Determination Movement and the Democratic League of Kosovo are unblocking the frozen process of several days of negotiations between them.

Yesterday afternoon, a meeting was held between Albin Kurti and Isa Mustafa, who for the first time signaled that the parties could be resolving problems.

The parties stated that the meetings would now be daily, implying that agreement in principle could have been reached and that the technicalities of the agreement had been reached.

Albin Kurti stated earlier that in the absence of agreement, the country would go to the polls again.

On the other hand, Kosovo's President, Hashim Thaci, has set a December 24 date for the first session of the Assembly.

For the first time since the election, the president convenes deputies in parliamentary sessions.

The Office of the President announces through a press release that in view of the Central Election Commission's November 27 Announcement of the Certification of Final Election Results, today has been issued the decision to call the Seventh Legislature's First Meeting of Kosovo, which will be held on December 24, 2019, at 9:00.
