The Albanian Prime Edi Rama has posted on Facebook a video featuring the Turkish President Erdogan in a speech, saying that Turkey will do everything it can to help Albania in the aftermath of the earthquake. In a video released by Rama, Erdogan says, among other things: "If we unite the powers, we will raise Albania on its feet." Erdogan often refers to Albanians as brothers and says our two countries are friendly.
“The Islamic Conference has 50 members. If we hold hands, join forces, no matter the quantity, more or less, we raise Albania on its feet. The wishes are understood to be good. But if only words the desires will be flying. If the honey does not enter the mouth, it does not sweeten the mouth. We should eat this honey, or share it with our brothers.
We have to do this, share the honey together. The Islamic world is the one that will take the most important step. We as Turkey are working, but we know that is not enough. We will work, we will continue. The Prime Minister has sent letters and requests to many countries. We hope that these demands will be answered positively because we have felt the pain of this earthquake years ago in Turkey," Erdogan said among other things.
