Private sector workers in Kosovo want wages over 350 euros; protests and strikes warn

The Independent Trade Union of the Private Sector (ITUPS) of Kosovo today held a meeting with the chairmen of several trade unions, where they discussed the poor situation of workers in this sector.

At the meeting, it was said that there were still poor working conditions and workers still being paid between 130 and 170 euros.

At this ITUPS meeting, it was decided to start protests and strikes next week, demanding better working conditions and wages over 350 euros.

We remind that the wages in Albania and Kosovo are the lowest in Europe and Balkans.
