Over 2000 fines in 48 hours on vehicles in Tirana

 

 These last 48 hours Tirana's streets have been 'riddled' with drivers violating the laws. Tirana Road Police reports that it has imposed over 2,000 fines in the last two days, with no serious violations, such as drunk driving.

23 citizens were detained in flagrant conditions, of which 7 were intoxicated, 15 were not equipped with driving licenses and 1 had false documents.

Also, 47 driving licenses have been suspended, of which: 16 for driving under the influence of alcohol, 22 for speeding over permitted rates ranging from 155km / h to 175 km / h, 2 for non-compliance with the stop sign, 5 for leaving the scene of the accident and 2 for other violations.
