Among other things, the conference emphasized that one way to combat environmental crime is to raise public awareness of the impact of environmental crime and on human health, as this will make the enforcement a higher priority.
Other suggestions include continuing practical and specialized training, facilitating the exchange of best practices and building a regional implementation network.
