255 motorcycle riders fined in Tirana for riding on bicycle lanes

 
 255 motorcycle riders have been fined by the Tirana police mainly for circulating in the lanes reserved for bicycles and without wearing the motorcycle helmets.

The State Police reports that by assessing as a source of danger on the road, the behavior of cyclists and motorcycle riders circulating in the reserved bicycle lanes, the Tirana traffic police have organized controls and monitoring on several major roads, such as Kavaja Street, Boulevard Zogu I, Dibra Street, Ibrahim Rugova Street, etc.



During controls, 255 riders have been punished, mainly for circulating in the lanes reserved for bicycles and without wearing protective headgear, and were also arrested in flagrant condition 11 citizens after they had not riding licenses.
