It was an anti-drug check at the vehicle checkpoint that discovered the cargo of 25 packages hidden inside the spare tire of the car. The anti-drug dog smelled of narcotics and police forces executed it. At the conclusion of the action, the Drugs Investigation Specialists at the Durres Police Directorate made the arrest in flagrance of the citizen A. S., 50 years old, resident in Switzerland, the driver of the vehicle. Investigative materials were forwarded to the Prosecutor's Office near the Durrës Court of First Instance for further action on the criminal offense of "Trafficking in narcotics".
