106 Albanian citizens are repatriated from Germany, France and Belgium
Another repatriation operation for the nationals who have applied for asylum or violated the rules of residence in the Schengen area has been finalized today in co-operation with France, Belgium and Germany.

Today at noon, 106 Albanian nationals were repatriated through two charter flights from France and Germany, within the framework of a joint European flight organized by France, Belgium, and Germany in cooperation with FRONTEX, and with the support of the Albanian escort, out of which: 17 nationals from France, 5 from Belgium and 84 from Germany.

Repatriation operations will continue in the coming weeks and in this context, the State Police appeals once again to all Albanian nationals traveling to EU countries, to respect the rules of movement in the Schengen Area, and not to try to seek asylum, as the chances of winning it are zero.

At the border crossing points, the Border Police will continue to apply the additional measures taken to prevent asylum-seeking, following strict controls in terms of verification of documentation and eligibility for travel to EU countries, as well as stricter controls in the green border.
