Roman wall to be restored in Finiq Archaeological Park, South Albania

The ancient city of Finiq is of great historical and archaeological value, an integral part of our cultural heritage.

The Institute of Cultural Monuments in collaboration with the Vlora Regional Directorate of Cultural Heritage has drafted the project "Consolidation of the Roman wall in the two-story dwelling in the archeological park of Finiq."

Finiq Archaeological Park is located on a Hill 283 m above the sea level, 9 km east of the city of Saranda. You can come to the park by any means of transport, following the Saranda-Gjirokastra national road and returning to the village of Finiq.

In the center of the village, you will find an asphalted road that will take you to the Hill where the park is located.

Alongside the monuments inside the fortification walls, Finiqi Hill offers to the visitors an extraordinary experience, thanks to the geographical position from which the Bistrica lowland, Butrint Lake and the entire Delvina basin can be overlooked.
