Mother of Haradinaj's adviser killed with 15 bullets by her husband

 The mother of the adviser to the resigned prime minister of Kosovo, Ramush Haradinaj, has been shot dead.

According to media in Kosovo, Bajram Velija, 61, shot dead his 42-year-old wife Armenda Velijaj last night with 15 bullets.

The couple had come on holiday from Switzerland to Kosovo and would stay for several weeks.

Armenda Velijaj, the victim killed by her husband, is the mother of AAK Vice President Diellza Hoti and the political advisor of the outgoing Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj.

According to Kosovo media, after the crime, Bajram Velija called the police by himself, telling them the crime he has committed.

The incident happened on Tuesday night in Prizren's at Hysni Morina Street. The whole event was seen by a bystander who is the only witness of this kind of crime. He is expected to be interviewed by Kosovo police officials.

It is not known what led the 61-year-old to commit such a crime. This was the second marriage of the couple, since both have been married before and have children from these marriages. But by this marriage they have no children.
