Kostas Arvanitis, of Albanian origin, has died in Greece. He managed to rescue 70 people from the flames last year on Nea Makri, East Attika.

He evacuated the people from the island in flames and for this reason the Greek government said that will pay for his funeral.

It was the new Greek Prime Minister, Kyriakos Mitsotakis by himself, who announced the news, which has been widely spread in the Greek media.
