For years the number of projects going through various stages of discussion or approval relating to the generation of wind power has been numerous but their concrete implementation is hard to find. But a recent July Government decision published this Tuesday in the official notebook has authorized a company to take on a project of this nature at the Topoje administrative unit in Fier where the company Max Energy, Ltd. has decided to install a 3MW wind power plant.

Referring to the decision, the expected commissioning deadline, which means the time for the construction and commissioning of the wind power station will be within 24 months upon obtaining the permission for the construction while the deadline for approval of construction is 48 months.

“The Ministry of Infrastructure and Energy and other institutions authorized by it have the right to exercise general oversight for a period of three months during implementation and commissioning, in order to verify that the performance, quality, and conformity of the works are in compliance with the overall project implementation and documentation program” states the decision. The decision also specifies the obligation that the entity has to pay in the form of energy or monetary value to the state as well as a certain amount to be passed to the public supplier.

“Max Energy sh.pk company is obliged to grant royalty-free of charge to the Ministry of Infrastructure and Energy (but not less than 2% of annual production amount or its conversion into value).
