Lushnje prison director is arrested for releasing prematurely the criminal Lulzim Caka

 At a special press conference, the Justice Minister of Albania Etilda Gjonaj announced that she had ordered the arrest of the Lushnja Prison Director Judmir Shurdhi and the cartelist Lazar Mino after the release of the criminal Lulzim Caka.

According to Gjonaj, their arrest comes after a special investigation, which found that Lulzim Caka, sentenced to 25 years in prison for the murder of Pellumb Emini, as well as for the attempted murder of Gani Malushi and Ilir Ngresi, was released prematurely from prison, 4 months and 22 days in advance, because of incorrect calculation of his stay in prison. They are accused of committing the offense of "Power Abuse".

Gjonaj said also that she ordered the immediate dismissal of the two employees involved in this kind of misuse of power.
