While the President Ilir Meta has started publishing some comments in the form of reflection on Justice Reform, which he named 'Ramaforma', the head of the International Organization for Migration (IOM) mission in Tirana, Genoveva Calavera, from the Poznan Summit in Poland, talks about Albanian politicians who have the seat in prison.

"We want to see the laws enforced, want to see people in jail, crime assets seized, and we want to have enough evidence/facts, not just laws, to demonstrate that the system is consolidated. I can only hope that in Albania when the system is shaken, all the politicians to understand the value of the respect and support of this reform," she said.

IOM mission chief Genoveva Calavera stated that the justice reform that is attacked by the Albanian President Ilir Meta is going to the right direction.

"This must be essential: to have a functioning legal state, to have an independent judicial system. It is no longer a negotiable matter. I am very happy that because of the Albanian people and not because of the politicians, because of the citizens, this dramatic change has started in Albania. Because it means that in this process, which I believe is going in the right direction, we will have an independent judiciary," she continued.

Mrs. Cavalera said Albania will be in a fantastic position to catch the lost time so far.

"Every country must find a way to reform the judiciary. It is not said to be so dramatic as in Albania because the problem is not the same for every country, but you need to find a way to reform," Calavera says.
