 A former employee of a second-tier bank, sentenced before to 10 years in prison, has been arrested by Shkodra police. The finalization of the police operation codenamed "The Transaction" arrested Olsi Boriçi, a resident of Shkodra.

His capture took place in an apartment in Skenderbej neighborhood. The Shkodra Court of Appeal sentenced him in 2017 to 10 years in prison for the criminal offense of Thefts of Banks.

"This citizen, in cooperation with another citizen, being a second-tier bank employee, has committed several transactions in significant amounts without the consent of the clients of this bank and falsifying their signatures have illegally obtained 28,000. 000 lek (new), these actions were carried out on the various dates during September, 2009".

The person will be handed over to the Lezha Police Local Services Department for further action.
