EC supports the opening of negotiations with Albania and North Macedonia with the blessing of Von der Leyen

 Today, the European Parliament is holding the voting on Ursula von der Leyen's candidacy.

Leyen has positively responded to one of S & D's requests for opening of negotiations for Albania and Northern Macedonia to join the European Union.

Oculus News sources said Von der Leyen said that the European Commission president will support the opening of negotiations for the two Balkan states.

We recall that Leyen has no competitors in her efforts to be nominated at the helm of the EU's major institution.

The German lady needs 374 votes to succeed Jean-Claude Juncker at the helm of the EC.
