The former CIA employee - Jerry Chun Shing Lee - accepts the allegations of collaborating with China

A former US Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) employee admitted charges of an agreement with China to convey information about US national defense.

Jerry Chun Shing Lee, who left the CIA in 2007 and who was arrested last year in the United States, during the trial acknowledged having collaborated with Chinese intelligence agency officials for security classified category information in exchange of money.

On the other hand, it is still unknown whether Li managed to send any information to China.

The 54-year-old, Jeri Chun Shing Li, who was in service in the CIA between 1994 and 2007, was arrested for illegal possession of CIA property documents with names and the number of agency employees.

In the court records is stated that the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) in 2012 controled the luggage and hotel room where Li was stationed, who along with his family was traveling to Hong Kong, and seized two small notebooks with the names and numbers of CIA secret agents and agency properties.
