Kosovo's Ambassador to Washington, Vlora Çitaku, announced that is revealed a monument in Pentagon, dedicated to NATO's military intervention in Kosovo.

"I am honored that, along with the US Air Force Commander, the General David L. Goldfein, at the US Department of Defense (Pentagon) premises, we uncovered a monument dedicated to NATO's military intervention in Kosovo. The General Goldfein has been personally part in the air campaign against targets of the Milosevic regime," Çitaku said.

"On May 2, 1999, the military plane flying by General Goldfein was hit by Serbian forces. Fortunately, after a rescue operation, the General Goldfein had returned safe to the NATO air base in Italy," she says.
