Albanian Opposition back on the road protesting; the Parties away from the dialogue

The Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama has hastened to invite his political opponent to the dialogue desk, but the Democratic Party leader Lulzim Basha seems determined to be in his cause. Repeatedly, the chief executive turned to Basha with three public letters demanding unconditional dialogue, as the prime minister asserted, time does not wait because the June 30 is approaching.

The head of the blue headquarters has categorically denied a dialogue in these conditions, while adding that the key point of the cause of the united opposition is the remove of the Prime Minister Rama and the creation of a transitional Government. According to Basha, these are two prerequisites that will help solve the political crisis, which has long been in fact accompanied by strong arguments and strong charges between the parties.

This Saturday the opposition has announced another national protest in front of the Prime Minister's Office at 19:00 which, according to opposition party leaders, will be the biggest protest ever organized during the history of political pluralism in Albania.

Meanwhile, there is still no details on how to organize and how long this protest will last, but meanwhile, the Democratic leader from Mati, as he invited citizens to take part in the protest, sent another message to the Prime that there is no step back in opposition's intentions, despite Rama's calls through letters of unconditional dialogue.

But seems that the political 'waters' in the country are somewhat troubled after the appeal of the German CDU/CSU coalition, which through a media statement invited the parties in Albania to sit down in the dialogue and discuss all the topics without excluding the possibility of postponement of June 30 elections.

At the same wavelength, the President of the Republic, Ilir Meta, who yesterday gave a strong message emphasizing that he is ready to sacrifice the mandate, in order for the parties to find a solution for the country's current crisis.
