Albanian language to be officially learned in public schools in Macerata, Italy

 The Albanian language will now be officially taught in public schools in Macerata, Italy.

This wonderful news is made public by the Minister of Education, Science and Technology of Kosovo, Shyqiri Bytyqi, during the meeting with Albanian teachers in Macerata, Italy, on the occasion of the annual meeting organized by the League of Albanian Teachers in Italy.

"No doubt, the best news that was given to this organization was that begining this year the teaching of the Albanian language will be officially organized in all public schools in Macerata, the news given by the director of the school 'Enrico Fermi', Mr. Ermanno Bracalente, and then is confirmed officially by the deputy mayor of the city, Mrs. Monteverde", said Bytyqi.


Minister Bytyqi also met with the rector of Camerino University, Claudio Pettenari, with which he has agreed to sign an agreement for awarding ten scholarships for students from Kosovo.

"This seven-centenary university, founded in 1336, will allocate 10 scholarships for students from Kosovo, 5 for basic studies and 5 for master studies, mainly for the exact sciences," he said.

Bytyqi also met with the professor and painter Arbëresh, Silvio Craia (Kraja).

The Deputy Minister of Diaspora in the Government of Kosovo, Afrim Bekteshi also participated in the annual meeting of Albanian teachers in Macerata, Italy.
