Greece's Foreign Minister George Katrougalos said it will extend the territorial waters of the Ionian Sea to Italy and Albania.
"We have decided to extend our territorial waters to the Ionian Sea as part of the definition of the Exclusive Economic Zone with Italy and Albania and other regions. We believe our sovereign right to expand our territorial waters is inalienable," said Foreign Minister George Katrougalos.Greek diplomat's statements took place a day before the meeting with his Turkish counterpart Mevlut Tsavousoglou.
