The Civil Aviation Authority announced that has completed the certification of Air Albania, paving the way for flight departures from this company.

Krislen Keri, head of the Civil Aviation Authority, said some days ago: "The flights will start in mid-April."

Air Albania has completed the first plane registration, which has arrived in Rinas and will perform the Tirana-Istanbul line. But, according to the head of Civil Aviation, he will be followed by others flying to Europe, and especially the Italian market, where is also the largest influx.

"We are informed by the company that the second aircraft will arrive soon, which will fly to three airports in Italy: Rome, Milan and Bologna, as well as the London airport," Keri added.

According to the head of Civil Aviation, the departure of flights from this company is expected to reduce the price of tickets for the Albanians to fly:

"I do not want to set figures, but looking at the cost structure, prices are expected to be lowered."
